A renowned Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and leadership coach with engagements worldwide, she works with Directors, CEO’s, Senior Management in high growth multinational corporations, family enterprises and entrepreneurial start-ups. She is the co-founder of 5Echo, a global leadership consultancy focusing on C-level executives. She facilitates unique leadership development and executive coaching programs which help senior executives discover a centred and balanced leadership presence to drive through their 4G (Gender, Generational, Generosity, Global) challenges by seamlessly shifting their contextual intelligence.

 

She works with key clients within a diverse range of industries but not limited to, aviation, luxury brands, IT, financial & professional services, pharmaceuticals & healthcare. She speaks conversational Cantonese, Malay and Mandarin but prefers to coach in English. She was awarded BlessingWhite Asia Pacific’s 2009 Consummate Facilitator and Client Development Award for her work with multinational clients in the region. She is currently on faculty to co-create a unique entrepreneur education experience in Investible - Australia’s Business Generation Lab. to their senses’. She artfully navigates the home truths of leadership lessons that translate into heartfelt communication, counter-intuitive learning, mindful resilience and courageous innovation in international business leaders.

 

Practising as a dental surgeon for 15 years before turning her attention to professional development and education for adults, she has skilfully transferred her abilities for diagnosis, and her talent for moving an audience of one or a thousand, into global leadership facilitation, executive coaching and personal development training.

She was awarded BlessingWhite Asia Pacific’s 2009 Consummate Facilitator and Client Development Award for her work with multinational clients in the region. She is on faculty at the University Putra Malaysia, and a collaborator for founder development in a unique entrepreneur education experience in Investible - Australia’s Global Business Generation Lab.

Having grounded her human development skills at the Institute of  Achievement  of Human Potential in Philadelphia, and as an avid student in the Cognitive Sciences, Dr Sum is an internationally certified Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Neuro Semantic (NS) Meta-Coach.
